Resuming 338 for 6, New Zealand scored a further 116 in 16 overs, Brendon McCullum declared after Broad conceded 19 runs in an over. BJ Watling went on to make 12o before falling to the second new ball, but Mark Craig hit an unbeaten 58 off 77 balls 9 fours and 1 six, Tim Southee 50 off 24 balls. Matt Henry hit couple of sixes to help New Zealand reach 454 for 8 declared. England will now have 98 overs to get 410 runs on the final day to win this match.
