Eugenie Victoria Helena marries Jack Christopher Brooksbank at Windsor
A stunning bride given away by her father Prince Andrew and watched by forty members of the Royal Family including The Queen, Prince Philip, Fergie and sister Beatrice, made the second big Royal Wedding of the year at St Georges Windsor at the cost of £2M, just five months after Prince Harry married another stunning bride, Meghan Markle. Eugenie and Jack have been together as a couple for nearly eight years and Jack is a drinks executive, and has managed nightclub Mahiki amongst many other prestigious positions in his ongoing career.
Eugenie wore an awesome smooth and silky flowing dress designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos and this showed a scar on her back from an operation many years ago. Eugenie invited the surgeon Jan Lehovsky who performed this operation(s) out of admiration and gratitude.
Amongst many guests were heavily pregnant Pippa Middleton and husband James Matthews, model Cara Delavingne, actress Demi Moore and model Naomi Campbell, as well as singer Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field. Liv Tyler, Pixie Geldof and Jimmy Carr were also there. Artist Tracey Emin and many other celebrated people in the field of acting, modelling and the creative arts of all kinds attended and witnessed this lavish and happy day. Amongst the delightful young bridesmaids and page boys, were Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The couple left after the nuptials in a horse drawn carriage to hordes of admiring crowds and the weather for a latish Autumn day was very kind, a little blustery but sunny and mild in temperature.
Tonight a black tie ball and dinner dance continues as a follow up to the day’s exciting events. Security and police are in full presence there including plain clothes as well as the fact that blocking devices are in operation to prevent any incident spoiling the wonderful day of fun and celebration.
