Facebook loses Tesla and SpaceX

Now Elon Musk, the billionaire boss of Tesla and SpaceX, has deleted his companies’ Facebook pages with over 5 million followers, in protest at the data leak scandal during a Tweetstorm. Musk was answering a flurry of tweets when he responded to Brian Acton, co-founder of Facebook-owned WhatsApp that contained the hashtag#deletefacebook.

Despite the anti-facebook stance, SpaceX and Tesla are still alive on Instagram which is owned by Facebook.

Sonos, the maker of speakers declared “ We are concerned revelations about Facebook and exploitation of its platform” before saying they would pull advertising from Facebook, Instagram, Google and Twitter for one week.

Mozilla, the web browser owner of Firefox and Germany’s  Commerzbank also said they would be pausing advertising on Facebook.
