Asia Cup final between India and Bangladesh on 6th March 2016, saw fan-passion taken to the extreme, with Bangladeshi fans hoping for an upset victory mocked up a glory cartoon image Showing their star cricketer Taskin Ahmed holding the severed head of Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The posting became viral throughout social media, shared by Bangadeshi’s using it as a battle cry and by others condemning the photoshopped picture for being in bad taste.

India won by eight wickets to win their sixth Asia Cup Title. Indian fans posted pictures of empty Bangladesh trophy cabinet.

Surprisingly a team of hackers calling themselves the Kerala Cyber Warriors hacked into more than 15 Bangladeshi websites, including several belonging to the Bangladeshi government. Visitors were greeted with victorious Hindi music, with a message “YOUR CRICKET TEAM IS NOTHING”.

The Kerala Cyber Warrior have a solution “We did not delete any data from the websites. We just defaced their home pages which can easily b e recovered by uploading a default file”.
