England’s run chase of 171 runs was derailed as  Roy nicks to slip for a golden duck, Buttler caught behind for four, Livingstone bowled by Bumrah, Brook, Malan, and Curran caught. Ultimately Moeen batted aggressively for 35, and Jordan run out after a mix-up, Malan was 33 not out at the end England was all out for 121, and India won by 49 runs.

India has won the fourth consecutive T20 series under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy with an aggressive bowling and batting approach during the powerplay. In the first two games, India beat England by 50 and 49 runs respectively in the three-match T20 series.

India now has beaten England in four T20I series two in India and two in England.

Jadeja’s batting and Bhuvneshwar’s ball swings won him the Player of the Match Award.
