North Korea’s Kim Jong-un met Russian President Vladimir Putin for the first time on Thursday during a two-day summit in the Russian City of Vladivostok. During  the nearly two-hour-long first session, the two leaders discussed North Korea’s nuclear weapons programme. Putin’s last summit with a North Korean leader was in 2002 with Kim Jong-un’s father Jong-il.
