New Zealand win the second test and tie the series, after Jos Butler scored a defiant 73 off 147  with 13 fours and 1 six. Kane Williamson was the unlikely hero of Headingly, come up trunps,  at one point his figures were 3-1-3-2 and ending with 15-3. England Captain Alistar Cook said ” It  disappointing today. At halfway we were right in the game and created opportunities. But every time we had a chance they took the game away from us with positive batting.  We could have batted out the day today, but those early wickets hurt us.” In the 56th over Cook waits patiently and cuts its for four to bring up his 9000 Test runs.
