In Sopot Poland, stands an irregularly-shaped building  Krzywy Domek which means “Crooked House”.

Designed by Szotybscy  and Zaleski,  the fabulous architecture inspired by the fairly tale illustrations and drawings of Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg, Krzywy Domek built in 2004 within 4000M²( 43,000ft²) is part of the Rezydent shopping centre. Evening at Krzywy Domek is vibrant with beauty saloons, cocktail bars, pubs and shops.

Krzywy Domek won the first place in the Village of Joy Portal http://villageofjoy.com/50-strange-buildings-of-the-world, beating 50 strangest buildings from around the world, including Forest Spiral- Hundertwasser building in Darmstadt, Germany, Torre Galatea Figueres in Spain, the Publics Library in Kansas City in the USA and the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.

London’s Gerkin and Lloyds Building came 43rd and 45th respectively.
