Launching of video streaming by Spotify!

Spotify, the music streaming market leader, with 60m subscribers, is to launch a video-streaming service that will complement its music platform. Most use the free service, but at least 15m pay for the service.

Swedish group founder  Daniel EK, is to launch on May 30, 2015 in New York, has hired Goldman Sachs to raise $500m,£325m, which could raise its value to more than $8bn £5.2bn.

YouTube  and Apple is also launching its own streaming services.  Apple last year bought Beat from Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine.
