A thirsty leopard was walking with its head stuck in a vessel in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan India, after it craned inside a pot in the hope of finding water to drink and had to wait over 12 hours before the Foresters came to its rescue. The three year male cat ventured into fields near Sadulkheda village when it spotted an abandoned steel pot.

District forest officer Kapil Chandrawal and his team took the leopard to their offices and the vets  tranquilised and yanked the utensil off its head and released to the wild. Sumerpur in nearby Pali district is a conservation reserve  for panthers and leopards.
