Levi’s and Google have brought out a technology denim jacket. The Jacquard denim with technology woven into the fabric, that enables touch interactivity, once paired to a smartphone via Bluetooth, the jacket allows the wearer to control key functions with gestures by brushing or tapping off the cuff, and double tap with two fingers starts or stops the music. The project called #SXSW2017, the connected area consists of 15 threads on the left sleeve, just visible enough for you to know where to touch to trigger actions from a paired smartphone or device.

The battery last about two days, and the Bluetooth device can easily be unclipped and charged via USB. Levi’s is bringing the Google-powered Commuter to stores for $350, and plans to use the technology in more ways eventually.
