Lewis Hamilton gets Knighthood
Lewis Hamilton (36) received his knighthood from Prince Charles, at Windsor, for services to motorsport after he was denied his eight Formula 1 driver’s title.
The Mercedes racer lost the 2021 title to Red Bull’s Max Verstappen at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, after he was overtaken on the final lap of the last race.
Hamilton was made an MBE in 2008 after winning his first F1 championship.
