Sri Lanka’s fast bowler Lasith Malinga has become the first bowler to take four wickets in four successive deliveries twice in international cricket. the 36-year-old took his second double hat-trick by dismissing New Zealand’s Colin Munro.
Hamish Rutherford, Coling de Grandhomme and Ross Taylor in the Third T20I were his victims. He aslo became the first bowler to take five international hat-tricks.
New Zealand captain Tim Southee said, ” We were outdonw by a piece of brilliance form Malinga, who registerd 4-1-6-6 in the T20I. He has been a world-class bowler for a long time”.
