Mosha the Asian elephant with a prosthetic leg

The prosthetic technology has come to the aid of an Asian elephant who lost its leg after stepping on a landmine. Mosha  seven months old is the first elephant with a prosthetic leg and the loss of her leg put enormous strain on her body and movement. The Friends of the Asian Elephant  foundation rose up to the challenge and created a bespoke prosthetic leg for her.
