Nepal earth quake survivor pulled to safety from the jaws of death

Many of the worst hit villages in the ridges around Kathmandu are  still cut off from earthquake are waiting for aid to arrive as roads are blocked by boulders and mud.

6000 people are known to have dead, and more than 10,000 injured. According to United Nations the biggest challenge is Shelter for several thousands of displace persons.
