New Zealand made history by winning back-to-back World Cup titles. Beauden Richie McCaw lifts the Webb Ellis Cup after All Blacks’ historic win. Dan Carter struck form at the right time as the All Blacks survived a Wallaby fightback to become the first team ever to retain the Webb Ellis Cup.

Although Australia made a real go of it in the second half all their efforts were in vain as New Zealand were just too good and showed their superiority.
