New Zealand paceman Neil Wagner had the fourth toe on his right foot fractured by Shaheen Afridi yorker while batting on the second day but despite the injury, he went on to take 2-50 as Pakistan was bowled out for 239.

Pakistan collapsed to 80-6 before 91 from Faheem Ashraf rescued them to a respectable total although they still trail New Zealand by 192.  Wagner dismissed Fawad Alam as the wicketkeeper edged a short ball behind and he later dismissed Shaheen caught at short-leg.
