Pakistan leveled the Twenty20 series at 2-2 after they edged past England by three runs in a thrilling match.
Chasing 167, England made a poor start to their reply and were reduced to 14-3 after two overs. Harry Brook hit 34 from 29 balls, and Ben Duckett 33 from 24 to recover. Liam Dawson’s 24 runs off the 18th over making 34 4 gave England hope for victory leaving tourists needing nine runs from 12 balls, but Pakistan snatched the match in the following over when Haris Rauf took two wickets in two deliveries, with nine wickets down with four runs still required to win. Reece Topley was then run out in the final over to seal Pakistan the 3-run win. Spinner Mohammad Nawaz took 3-35 including the wicket of England captain Moeen Ali for 29 and Seamer Mohmmad Hasnain taking 2-40.
Earlier Mohammad Rizwan top-scored with 88 runs from 67 balls steering Pakistan to post 166-4 in 20 overs.
