Plane crash kills two in Columbia
A small Twin engine plane carrying crew members from a Tom Cruise movie “Mena” crashed on Friday 11th September 2015, at 5:30 local time, while returning to Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport in Medellin, in cloudy and foggy conditions in the town of San Pedro de los Milagros in the Columbian mountains killing two people aboard including a Hollywood stunt pilot Alan Purwin. And Carlos Berl both Americans.
The pilot of the plane Jimmy Lee Garland suffered a hip fracture and is being treated at Medellin hospital, where he is in a stable condition.
