Millions of children in England are returning to classroom teaching after more than two months of home-schooling.  Primary schools are expected to be open for all pupils, while secondary schools will have a phased opening with regular rapid Covid tests and they all need to wear masks in class. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the return to classroom teaching is an important first step towards a “ sense of normality”.

The UK now has given 22.2 million first vaccine doses and 1million second vaccine doses.
