India successfully chased the highest run chase by any team against England in an International T20. Rohit Sharma made an amazing 100 not out to help India beat England by seven wickets in the third Twenty20 and secured a 2-1 series victory. The 31-year-old Rohit Sharma became the first Indian to hit three T20I Hundreds, and reached the century in 56 balls during the third T20I against England on Sunday at Bristol.

Although England batting first, helped by Jason Roy’s 67 from 31 balls posted 198-8 in 20 overs, could manage only 87 runs from finals 10 overs.

Rohit Sharma shared an 89-run stand with Virat Kholi and accelerated in the final overs.

Hardik Pandya who made 33 no tout closed out the match with eight balls to spare. Three excellent catches one from Jake Ball and two by Chris Jordan.

England captain Eoin Morgan shuffled his bowlers but India rarely looked trouble in their run-chase, despite losing Shikhar Dhawan early to a superb low catch from Ball at short fine leg. Jordan sprinted to his right to a long-on diving catch that left the batsman Rahul shaking his head..

Earlier Indian bowlers recovered well from an English Chastening start. Pandya who mixed up his pace and length finished with 4-38 including the wickets of Stoke who was caught at mid-off for 14 and Bairstow on 25 who edged behind.

Dhoni, took five catches and became the first player to do so in a T20 international.
