Yaduveer krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar was solemnized at 9:35am at the iconic Amba Vilas Palace in Mysuru which was specially decorated for the Royal wedding of Wodeyar family Scion witnessed by over 1000 invited guests and several priests.

24-year-old Yaduveer, educated in Boston, cald in pink-gold Sherwani and Mysuru peta, tied the mangalasutra on 22-year-old Trishika Kumari Singh daughter of Harshvardhan Singh and Maheshri Kumari from the Dungarpur Royal family of Rajasthan, at the Kalyana Mantapa in the palace on 27th June 2016, during the auspicious Karkataka lagna., which forms part of a 600-year old tradition. Against ornate backdrop of gold and pista brocade columns and peacock feather stained glass and the fragrance of Mysuru jasmine Trhishika dressed in a magenta and saffron silk saree, presented Yaduveer with a Jasmine “highness garland”.

In a traditional ceremony on May 28, 2015, Yaduveer now the 27th King of Wodeyar dynasty graduated in Economics and English at Boston University and is the grandson of Princes Gayatri Devi, the eldest daughter of the last Maharaja Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar, was crowned as the titular head of the erstwhile Mysuru royal family During Dasara he had ascended the golden throne to preside over the Khase (private) durbar which is reminiscent of the bygone area.
