FC Zurich’s Armando Sadiku scored the only goal of the game when he headed past Romanian keeper Ciparian Tatarusanu and recorded Albania’s first major tournament victory in Lyon since 1948, that gives them some of reaching the Euro 2016 last 16. Romania’s Florin And one came close with a shot that came off the bar. Albania were unfortunate to lose against Switzerland and then France. Although Romania had 62% possession it was Albania who had 5 shots on target.

Switzerland and France played out a Euro 2016 goalless draw which took the Swiss into the last 16 and saw the French win Group A. Paul Pogba hit the woodwork twice in the first half and French substitute Dimitri Payet also struck the crossbar with a volley from Moussa Sissoko’s cross. Switzerland could have had a penalty when BacarySagna pulled Blerim Dzemaili’s shirt in injury time. French will now play the third-placed team from either Group C, D or E in Lyon on Sunday.
