Sky Brown, wins bronze to become GB’s youngest medal winner at Olympics, surpassed Sarah Hardcastle, who took two medals in swimming in 1984, when she was 15 years old.

Brown broke 93-year-old record of Margery Hinton to become the youngest athlete  to represent Team GB. Skaura Yosozumi of Japan wins gold for skateboarding  with a best score of 60.09

USA’s Sydney McLaughlin  (21), smashed her own world record with a sensational run as she took Olympic gold in the women’s 400m hurdles at the Tokyo Games to finish 51.46 seconds as she shaved almost half a second off the old mark to reel in compatriot and rival defending champion Dalilah Muhammad (31). Netherland’s Femke Bol took Bronze behind the reigning world champion.

Canada’s Andre de Grasse wins 200m final. Showjumping Ben Maher wins individual gold in jump-off.
