An £800 million project is underway in London’s West India Quay to build the tallest residential tower in Europe.  The 67 floor tower is the most ambitious building project to emerge since Brexit. This comes in spite of a slump in the housing market partly caused by the small recession.  The 861 apartments will start to be sold off during the building of the towers next month at prices between £595,000 and £3m each despite the fact that the building will not be finished until 2020.  The building is part of the Chinese Greenland Group’s schemes and it will house an infinity pool, gym and cocktail bar.
