A Tanker truck collided with a lorry on a motorway bridge in Bologna, Northern Italy exploded killing two and injuring sixty. The blast which immediately engulfed the area into a fireball and black plumes of smoke caused the bridge to partially collapse.

The fire spread to a car showroom below where several cars exploded at about 14:00 (12:00 GMT). The accident happened on the Casalecchio junction that connects the A1 to the A14. Many were hit by debris and broken glass from the explosion.
