Andrea Leadsom quits Conservative leadership contest in the “interest of country best served by immediate appointment” of PM, handing victory to May. Theresa May pledges to take Britain out of the EU and rules out a second referendum saying “Brexit means Brexit and we are going to make a success of it.”

David Cameron has confirmed Theresa May will replace him as Prime Minister on Wednesday 13th July 2016, after PMQs. There is a race to pick new cabinet as May,  will be UK’s first female PM in 26 years,  gets keys to No 10. Brussels better watch out, as they would now prepare for a deal oriented negotiator.
