A trailer truck loaded with costumes for BBC Television show, falls into water while reversing into a harbour at Bristol Dock.

The HGV was balanced awkwardly on the dock of Bristol as rescue crews arrived at the scene of half-submerged vehicle.

The scheduled filming of BBC 1 Comedy thriller “The Outlaws”, starring Stephen Merchant. The police said the HGV driver was shaken up but unhurt.

The lorry is owned by Wandering Star Facilities  who leased it to TV vehicle support group ADF for the production. Three fire engines, including one heavy rescue tender, a boat and  firefighters are using winches in an effort to stop the HGV from sinking further.

Avon Fire and Rescue group  manger Gareth Lloyd said “ the lorry is now secure and firefighters remain on scene to assist the recovery company in removing the vehicle, and the driver had already made it to safety”.
