Trump suggests Nigel Farage would make a fabulous British Ambassador to the USA

Nigel Farage is said to have “incredibly close links to the President Elect” Donald Trump.  President Trump has intimated that Farage should fill a role as British Ambassador to the USA. In terms of diplomacy, Downing Street and its satellite personnel are saying Farage  is not the best man for the job and “there is no vacancy for him in Washington”.  “The ballot box is the ultimate silencer for politicians” said a spokesman also noting that that position is already filled.  There is no denying that Farage and Trump get on extremely well and that we do not want Trump becoming more protectionist on the trade scene.
