Tsunami death toll climbs to 1350

Indonesia’s disaster response agency says the death toll of last Friday’s 7.5-magnitude earthquake and Tsunami has risen to 1350 in the coastal city of Palu just off the central island of Sulawesi.

Indonesian Red Cross Officials said they have recovered 34 Indonesian students under a church buried by a mudslide. They were presumed part of a group of 86 students reported missing from a Bible camp in the Jonooge Church Training Centre. Still, 52 students are missing.
