Two Czech “Flying Bulls” stunt aircraft in near fatal clash of wings, but lands safely!

Three Red Bull stunt aircraft the “Flying Bulls” from Czech Republic, collided in mid-air on Thursday, while performing part of a three-plane inverted loop stunt at the Aero India defence expo Asian continent’s premier air show, in the skies above the Yelahanka Airforce in Bengaluru ( Bangalore) in Southern India. Two of these planes clashed clipping the wingtips of both aircrafts. But both pilots escaped unharmed and managed to land safely.

Sitanshu Kar for The Ministry of Defence said that the aircraft suffered “minor damage” and an FOR

( foreign object removal) was carried out on the runway soon after the collision. The airs how has resumed after the precautionary check.” Over 450,000 people have so far  this week attended Aero India.

The International series of Red Bull Air race, established in 2003, where competitors have to navigate a challenging obstacle course in the fastest time.  Pilots have to fly individually against the clock and have to complete tight turns through a slalom course consisting of pylons, known as “Air Gates”. The aim was to develop a new aviation race that would challenge the ability of the world’s best pilots, creating a race in the sky that was not only navigate at high speeds, but also  skill and precision.
