UKIP LEADER REMARKS ON NEW MIGRANTS’ EFFECT ON LABOUR
Jeremy Corbyn – Leader of the opposition
Nigel Farage – UKIP leader, has been in the news again with his observation that in the inner London area, votes for Jeremy Corbyn will increase as aid is given to newcomers from stressful backgrounds who are offered help, succour and support here, and also by our satisfied immigrants. However the outer boroughs have more interest in his party he observed, noting that the party had come second in five seats in that area at the General Election in May.
Paul Nuttall, UKIP Deputy Leader, on discussing Ukip’s Referendum Campaign, said he did not believe Nigel Farage was too divisive to be its figurehead, saying, “We’ve got a window of opportunity for UKIP and we will either jump through that window or we won’t”. Tomorrow the party’s mayoral candidate will be announced.
As regards other comments on Jeremy Corbyn, they included denouncing his wanting to give away the Falklands, abolish the Army, unilateral nuclear disarmament, wanting to get rid of the Queen – “all that stuff will turn them (voters) off”.
However an exclusive poll published in the London Evening Standard, revealed today that UKIP is seen as “extreme” and more “out of date” than it was before the general election. Time will tell how UKIP fares in the future of the British government.
