World Snooker Championship 2022: O’Sullivan claims seventh world Title
Ronnie O’Sullivan (46), claims the seventh World Championship title with an 18-13 win over Judd Trumps to equal Henry’s record in the modern era in Crucible history.
Trump staged a superb fightback to claw six of Monday afternoon’s eight frames to battle back to 14-11 from a 12-5 deficit, as O’Sullivan took four of the evening’s first six frames by scoring 82, 88, 75 and 85 breaks and sealed his victory and the £ 500, 000 top prize. Trump also did a Crucible history with a record-breaking 109th century of the tournament fittingly with a clearance of 109 to close the gap to 17-13.
