158-year-old Bridge destroyed by fire

A  158-year-old bridge built in 1863 on the river Tiber in Rome has been partially destroyed in a fire  believed to have started by a cooking gas canister in an area of shacks occupied by homeless people on the river banks.

The Bridge one of the last major construction works in Rome.
