Anthony Hopkins is alive and well – here is a funny story

Distinguished Welsh actor Anthony Hopkins was subject of a post-Halloween hoax when it was announced on the internet that he had passed away.  This was false information, and pleas have followed this hoax, not to believe everything you read on the internet.  He is alive and well and nowhere near dead.  But here is a funny story: Anthony Hopkins remembers being born but asked about it he said “no I have not been Bourne” alluding to the Jason Bourne series of films.  “I have total recall under my belt” he quipped and then denied that he has appeared in any Arnie Schwarzenegger films on the “Total Recall” theme.  “My word on having total recall and remembering been born is my bond” he said, and then denied of course that he has ever starred in a James Bond movie.  I hope this misinformation is now understood.  This is a play on words from a supporter of Anthony Hopkins  who is famous for many substantial  parts including Dr Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs.
