Barefoot Harry tackles rugby sharks in S A

Prince Harry in SA

Prince Harry played rugby in Durban during his current tour of South Africa. He also put his head in the mouth of the country’s mascot – a giant shark “toy”!

Harry 31 was at the “Shark Tank” rugby venue and took off his trainers to go on the pitch for an impromptu game.  He is supervising how rugby and surfing help to shape young peoples’ development.

The Surfers Not Street Children development on Durban beach is also on his itinerary. A poem by a British spoken word artist George Mpanga is to be read and the tour finishes this Thursday which will also take in the Kruger national park and he will speak out against poaching in an effort to protect the local animals, a subject close to the heart of The Saturn Herald’s copycat mission.  Rhino poaching is  a particular problem in the country’s largest tourist attraction in the north-east province of Mpumalanga.
