Elephant race at Guruvayoor

Thirty elephants took part in the Elephant race (Anayottam) which marked the opening of10-day annual festival at the Shree Krishna temple at Guruvayoor on 20th February 2016 Saturday. Gopikannan, the elephant of Guruvayoor Devasom won the race and did a hat-trick. Elephants Chentamarakshan and Kanan finished second and and third respectively.
