England have won the two tests 2-0 up with one to play. Alistair Cook reached the 10,000-run landmark, the 12th man to do so in Test history and the youngest English man to achieve the feat at the age of 31 years and 5 months, 5 days, and broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record to become the youngest player to score the feat, as England secured a nine-wicket victory to take the series despite Dinesh Chandimal’s sixth Test century, and first outside Asia who added 116 in 29 overs for the eight wicket with Rangana Herath who scored 61 before James Anderson completed his five-wicket haul to take him to 18 wickets in the current series. He was named man of the match.
