Lewis wins

Lewis Hamilton dominated the Japanese Grand Prix, in his Mercedes to put a stranglehold on the Formula 1 title. Hamilton’s eighth victory in 14 races extends hi championship lead to 48 points with 125 still available in the remaining five grand prix. After victory Hamilton said it felt “unreal” a he moved level with his boyhood hero Ayrton Senna on 41 race wins. He said “ It’s quite an emotional day. I’m full of joy and happiness and light”. He however, defended his first-lap overtaking of Nico Rosberg, which forced Mercedes team-mate wide and dropped to fourth before fighting back to win the second spot. Rosberg said “It got really close on the exit of turn two and I had to back out of it there and that lost me the race”.
