Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat trick by knocking two penalties and rounded off the scoring with a header as Portugal thrashed Luxembourg 5-0 on Tuesday 12^th October, at the Estadio Algarve in group World cup qualifier.

The victory leaves Portugal second in Group A, a point behind Serbia who they host in their final game. Burno Fernandes and Joaos Palhinha scored the other goals.

Ronaldo has 115 international goals. Portugal travel to the Republic of Ireland in their penultimate Group A march before facing Serbia.
