Sri Lanka’s Pradeep took 4-31 in damp gloomy conditions. Although Najibullah’s 43 put Afghanistan in with a chance of victory but fell short 34 runs in low-scoring thriller.


The Sri Lanka innings was interrupted by rain on 182-8 after 33 overs and when they resumed the match was reduced to 41 overs per side. Rashid Khan took the final wicket in the 37th over to dismiss them for 201.
