World leaders gather in Portsmouth to honour those who fought in the D-Day landings 75- years ago. Trump and 300 veterans in Portsmouth joins Queen for D-Day Anniversary. Troops from UK, US, Canada and France attacked German Forces on French coast on 6 June 1944. Prime Minister Theresa May hosts 15 world leaders to honour largest combined land, air and Naval operation in history. Red Arrows complete RAF flyover. Queen meets D-Day veterans after ceremony. Queen due to bid formal farewell to MR Trump at end of state visit before he travels to Republic of Ireland.

Larry the cat who was brought to 10 Downing Street, the official residence of Theresa May, the UK prime minister, to  hunt rats,  sat under US President Donald Trump’s armoured limousine  which can survive bullets, explosions  and chemical weapons, was brought to a standstill on Tuesday and refused to move.
