Chelsea defender Marc Guehi scored home the fourth from close range, as England avenged Spain’s victory in the European Championship final back in May 2017.
Spain found two goal out of five on target while England had 25 shots on goal , 11 of which found the target. Liverpool striker Brewster secured the tournament’s golden boot with the header that put the game back within reach .
Manager Steve Cooper said “ I am just so proud of the performance. We were down and we just played our way back into it. We didn’t stop. We stuck to the game plan. We’re building for the future and that’s the way to do it”.
Spanish coach Santiago Denia was “heartbroken” by Phillip Foden and his gang.
